Data recovery is defined as the procedure of hard drive data recovery from wrecked, damaged, failed or inaccessible primary storage media when it is unavailable for regular access. Damage may be the result of logical damage to the file system or physical damage to the storage device that stops it from being accessed by the host operating system. Most often the data recovery is salvaged from storage formats, like hard disk drives, storage tapes, CDs, DVDs, RAID, and a number of other devices.
